Yesterday we went to the CampingWorld RV and Camper show at Independence Mall in Wilmington with Nikki and Travis. It was an outdoor show in the parking lot, but had a fairly good selection of 5th wheels, trailers and motorhomes. We found a Montana with rear desk and Island kitchen we liked, and also a nice Bighorn. We also looked at a Montana that has the bedroom in the rear and living room in the nose. I really liked the layout but the basement storage is much less than the standard layout. All of them had my "mandatory" items. Double door frig, 50 amp dual A/C's, Island kitchen, Bigfoot 6 point auto levelers, washer/dryer and permanent Onan generator. With 8' foot ceilings and ceiling fans it felt more like a apartment than a 5th wheel. Afterwards we had dinner at Ruby Tuesday's.
Later we played Euchre with Jim and Mary at the campground. Jim and I got beat the first few games but with consistent bad cards what can you do? We made our comeback in the last two games.
Today is supposed to be a bit cooler here only in the low 50's but by Tuesday we are back in the 70's, Finally!
Week after next I'm going to Maryland Heights, MO for business and Kathy is preparing for her Florida trip with the triplets. Not too much longer and we'll be on the road again.
but did you talk turkey with the RV dealer???
