Easter Egg coloring at Nikki's and Travis

Today we colored eggs at Nikki's. But first, Kathy and Nikki went shopping while Travis and I replaced the hood lifts, brake pads and changed the oil in the truck.  Kathy and Nikki also made a candy flower arraignment.

Going away party

Last night we had a great evening seating around the fire, eating, drinking and just having a good time.
Everyone brought a dish and started around 4:30. Most of us are leaving in the next few weeks. It was nice getting to know everyone and playing some Euchre. Jim and Mary leave 4/1. They are from Connecticut and were workampers at the KOA. They are going back to Connecticut to work for the summer and will be back here in September. Mike and Joy are from England and will be going back 4/16. They spend 6 months here (one of their sons goes to school here) and 6 months in England. Howard is going back the end of the month. He is from Ontario, Canada and spends 6 months here and 6 months there. Laura who we met this year just retired from the Marines and is going to school at University of North Carolina. She has a 5th wheel and is staying here until she is done. The summer workampers Dave and Kathy seemed very nice. They are here until September when Jim and Mary get back.

Looking forward to stories from the summer when we all get back together.

Small travel change

Instead of leaving on Friday, 4/12 we are leaving Thursday, 4/11 and will be going to Westfield, NC instead of Ashville,NC. We'll be staying a the Mayberry RV Resort in Mt Airy. The Andy Griffin show was filmed there and all the memorabilia is everywhere.  On Friday 4/12 we are going to Carolina Zipline Canopy tours. We'll be in the tree tops for two hours!!

St. Patrick's weekend

Saturday we enjoyed the Wilmington St. Patrick's Day parade!  It was about an hour long but no leprechaun at the end of the parade!!

Sunday was our Segway tour day. It was beautiful today. Sunny and around 76 degree's.

Beautiful weekend

What a great weekend! Both days sunny, light breeze and in the 60's. This week we will hit the 70's!!
Friday night we played cards (Euchre) with Jim and Mary. Saturday Kathy went to a day seminar on poverty with some friends at the church. I went to breakfast with Nikki and Travis and then waxed the RV...all day....

Sunday we cleaned the carpets and then went to Nikki's and Travis's.  We had lunch at Plaza Mariachi and then Travis I put up a fence for their dog kennel while Nikki and Kathy went shopping.

Plan on spending a quiet evening at home tonight.

Hanging out at the beach

Quiet day today. We put the 5th wheel in for the annual service before we take off for Colorado in a month.

Went to breakfast at Jimbo's with Nikki and Travis and then went for a walk on Wrightsville Beach with Chewie. Nice day, around 60 degree's. Suppose to hit 70 by the end of the weekend.
