Richfield Utah KOA

This is very nice campground. Too bad we still didn't have our ATV's. Trails start right at the campground. The sites are very level, packed gravel with well manicured lawns at each site. From almost any direction you can see mountain ranges.

We went into Richfield this evening....one main street but fairly big. Snow University is the towns claim to fame with emphasis on Psychology and a collation with Julliard. One thing that stood out. In Wilmington, NC there was at least one bar on every corner. In Richfield we did not see one bar. I expect the Mormon influence. Image a college town with no bars.

We ate Chinese out tonight at "South China" which was a good meal and would recommend it if you are in the area. Prices are reasonable.

Not much else exciting in the area. The usual Home Depot, Super K-Mart, Walmart, every fast food and a Fly J truck stop.

Snow covered mountains

"Utah" a new addition to our map

  1. The mountains are beautiful in the background! We are glad that you didn't have to drive thru too much of the liquid white sunshine!
